An American Roman Catholic musician, writer, tv presenter and founding father of a monastic community referred to as the Brothers and Sisters of Charity

Talbot embarked on a spiritual journey that led him by means of Native American faith and Buddhism to Christianity. At this level he and his brother, Terry, joined the Jesus motion, recording the album Reborn which was re-released by Sparrow Records (initially launched as The Talbot Brothers on the Warner Brothers label).

Talbot was born right into a Methodist household with a musical background in Oklahoma Metropolis, Oklahoma, and began studying to play the guitar at an early age. At age 15 he dropped out of college and was performing as a guitarist for Mason Proffit, a country folk-rock band formed together with his older brother Terry.
